The IT Engineer is a two-year full-time AP Degree programme qualifying for key functions within a number of trades and industries.

The IT Engineering Higher Educational programme qualifies the candidate for a professional position as manager of or participant in projects related to product development, planning, and the operation of systems in the fields of computer technology in private as well as public sector.
Job functions will typically be within the areas of innovation, planning, construction and operation of systems within communication technology and computer electronics. Many IT Engineers also work with purchase, sales and service.
The IT Engineer is qualified to work with modern technology both as a tool and as a product within the areas of:
- sale and technical support within IT
- planning and management within production techniques and tests
- purchasing of IT
- advisory and consulting services within the IT sector
